About AppIconVault

AppIconVault is an independent archive of Apple App Store icon versions. The product focus is time: version chains, change intervals, and comparable captures — not another inspiration wall.

Every US App Store category is tracked as two separate charts, Top Free and Top Paid, so paid-only apps are not hidden behind the free rankings.

Google Play is out of scope for v1.

This website is read-only against the vault database and icon storage. Collection runs separately so a pipeline outage does not take the archive offline.
